This is a remote position.
An Experienced DevSecOps engineer to help build andmaintain the companys
production AWS services for running our web applications and dataprocessing pipelines. This
role will work closely with other software engineering dataengineering and data science
teams. They will be responsible for implementing infrastructure ina secure scalable and
maintainable way leveraging infrastructureascode and industry bestpractices. The ideal
candidatewill work as a player coach driving forward best practices whileserving as a technical
leadthrough all phases (design implementation launch maintenance) ofprojects.

Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure Management
Developing and troubleshootingon the AWS cloud platform including services
like EC2 S3 Lambda and Cloud Networking(VPCs ALB/NLB etc.)
Design andimplement infrastructure solutions for Biobot s web applicationsand
data processing needs inservice of product development teams
Automation of Cloud Operations
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices forefficient cloud resource
provisioning configuration and orchestration.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines inGitlab to streamline testing and
deployment of applications and their associatedinfrastructure.
Develop andmaintain automated security testing monitoring tools and cloud
operations scripts to identifyvulnerabilities security risks and optimize cloud
resource management.
Security and Cloud Integration
Integrate security practices into theDevOps pipeline and cloud infrastructure
ensuring security is a fundamental part of thecontinuous integration and
continuous deployment (CI/CD) process.
Collaborate with development operations and cloud teamsto implement secure
codingpractices and automated security testing in cloud environments.
Training and Collaboration
Provide training and awarenessprograms for development operations and
cloud teams on security best practices and cloudoperations.
Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to address security concerns and
optimize cloud infrastructure in thedesign and architecture of applications.
Security Audits Compliance and Cloud Security
Perform security audits andassessments to ensure compliance with industry
standards and regulations addressingcloudspecific security challenges.
Implement and maintain security measures specific tocloud environments
collaborating with relevant teams to address security concerns inthe design and
architecture ofapplications.
Develop andmaintain an incident response plan for security breaches and
incidents including incidentsrelated to cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer Science Information Security or related
field.
5 years or more of experience in DevOpssecurity and cloud operations roles.
Indepth knowledge of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelinesautomation tools and AWS
cloudplatform.
Handson experiencewith Gitlab or other modern CI/CD platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud securityprinciples vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
Familiarity with containerizationtechnologies orchestration tools and cloudspecific
security measures.
Handson experience with Docker.
Handson experience with AWSECS CloudWatch Step Functions and Batch.
Experience with IAC languages preferably Terraform.

NicetoHaves:

Relevant certifications such as CertifiedDevOps Engineer (DevSecOps) Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) AWScertifications (e.g. AWS
Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) orSecurity.
Handson experiencewith tagbased permissions in AWS.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python orBash.
Experience withTypescript


Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.5 years or more of experience in DevOps, security, and cloudoperations roles.

In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CDpipelines, automation tools, and AWS cloud platform. Hands-onexperience with Gitlab or other modern CI/CD platforms. Strongunderstanding of cloud security principles, vulnerabilities, andcountermeasures. Familiarity with containerization technologies,orchestration tools, and cloud-specific security measures. Hands-onexperience with Docker. Hands-on experience with AWS ECS,CloudWatch, Step Functions, and Batch. Experience with IAClanguages, preferably Terraform.

Nice-to-Haves: Relevantcertifications such as Certified DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps),Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWScertifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWSCertified DevOps Engineer), or Security+.
