ECOM Specialist LLC is a USA-Dallas-based IBM & SAP Business Partner. The selected candidate will be required to work with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Canada, Australia, and US-based staff; working hours are from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am India Standard Time.

You will not be allowed to do any other job while you working for ECOM; it is a must-have requirement.

You MUST pass a test to be considered for this position.

Role Overview: The EDI Development Manager will lead a team responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. This role requires extensive technical expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of EDI standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Proficiency in business process development, map development, communication configuration, and custom adapter/services development within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• In-depth understanding of EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, RestAPIs, and Web Services.
• Detailed knowledge of data formats including XML, CSV, fixed-length files (FF), and ODBC mapping.
• Ability to write EDI specifications and design documents.

Technical Development Standardization Experience:

• Develop and enforce maps and business process developer guidelines to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Create and implement test plans and testing guidelines to maintain solution quality.
• Establish best practices for production moves and deployments.

Technical Management:

• Manage remote worldwide development teams with 25+ members, including hiring and firing decisions.
• Develop and execute continuous training programs for existing staff to enhance skillsets.
• Design comprehensive training plans for new team members.
• Implement processes to monitor developers' productivity on a week-by-week basis.
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews.
• Provide recommendations to management for monthly and annual bonuses based on performance metrics.
• Take prompt action to address productivity issues among team members.

Project Management:

• Oversee project management activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of projects.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and track project milestones.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Vendor management: Coordinate with external vendors for integrations and support.
• Documentation: Ensure comprehensive technical documentation is maintained for all projects.
• Quality assurance: Establish and enforce QA processes to ensure solution reliability and accuracy.
• Stakeholder communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates and issue resolution.
• Stay updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to B2B integration and EDI.
