    Description
    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    • Develop and execute strategy for a product. Manage mid/high complexity product independently with limited manager support
    Responsibilities will include

    Functional Expertise

    • Defines strategy and roadmap for success of BharatSwipe (POS terminal for card acceptance) in line with the company vision and objectives
    • Executes the roadmap with internal stakeholders (like engineering, business, operations etc.) and external stakeholders (like device hardware, device TSPs, switch and acquiring banks)
    • Finds the opportunity space in the POS industry and build products to meet customer and business needs
    • Helps in scaling up of BharatSwipe business through product initiatives and supporting in business initiatives
    • Identifies and solves problems at the functional level while influencing beyond own area of control
    • Drives process improvements at product level
    • Ensure successful product launches and high adoption rates
    Problem Solving

    • Display Customer centric mindset
    • Is able to understand customer problems and develop innovative solutions
    • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
    • Develop and implement gotomarket strategies, working with all departments to execute
    • Track product performance using relevant KPIs. Analyze product usage data to drive product improvements

    Interaction:

    • Manage simple stakeholder relationships with support from manager
    • Awareness of overall business context
    • Excellent presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Act as a mentor for APM/Product Managers
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, design, operations, marketing, and sales, to guide products from conception to launch

    Qualification & Experience (type & industry)

    • BE/B.Tech or equivalent Degree. MBA is good to have
    • 47 Yrs of experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in product management at a fintech
    • Prior experience in payments landscape is required
    • Experience of launching / scaling up POS or similar product (good to have)
    • Experience of managing physical hardware products which has operational logistics (good to have)
    Skills & know-how

    • Excellent organization skills, ability to lead multiple projects and handle contending priorities, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
    • Technically minded and basic understanding on Agile development, web & app technologies
    • Product Management experience desired, ideally in Fintech space
    • Past success delivering high quality products in a complex environment
    • Deep understanding of financial systems, lending processes, and payment platforms is preferred.
