Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banker to join our team, specializing in buy-side roles for real estate clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advising clients on acquisitions, mergers, and investments in the real estate sector. This role demands a deep understanding of the real estate market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Advisory: Provide strategic advice to real estate clients on potential acquisitions, mergers, and investments.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
• Due Diligence: Lead and manage the due diligence process for real estate transactions, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance checks.
• Deal Structuring: Develop and structure investment deals, including negotiation of terms and preparation of detailed financial models.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders within the real estate industry.
• Financial Modelling: Create and review complex financial models to support investment decisions and valuations.
• Transaction Management: Oversee the entire transaction process from initiation to closing, ensuring all activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Industry Networking: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in the real estate market.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in investment banking, with a significant focus on the real estate sector and buy-side transactions.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of the real estate market in India.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, financial analysis software, and other relevant tools.
