    Who are we looking for?

    As Airblack looks to rapidly scale our business development counselling team over the coming year, we are looking for a Training Manager to train and shape our growing team.

    The Training manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of our sales counselling team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and conduct effective classroom training programs and deliver on-the-job counselling training to all new joiners. You will work closely with sales leadership to identify training needs, design curriculum, and implement training initiatives to drive sales effectiveness and achieve business objectives.

    What would you be doing?

    As a training manager, you would be responsible for the success of new joiners in the Airblack business development team and the continued maintenance of revenue productivity of all individual counsellors.

    • Training Delivery: Conducts engaging and interactive sales training sessions and, workshops to educate newly joined counsellors on sales methodologies, product knowledge, and best practices.
    • Skill Mentorship: Provide personalized coaching and feedback to sales counsellors to help them improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
    • Sales Skills Development: Focus on developing key sales competencies such as prospecting, objection handling, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
    • Product and Market Knowledge: Develop expertise in product, customer insights and industry trends, and ensure timely updation in skills of the Airblack counselling team.
    • Skill & Performance Assessment: Assess employees' skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.

    What makes you a suitable candidate?

    We would love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

    • 3-6 years of experience in sales/business development preferably in education / edtech, insurance, banking, and beauty & wellness skilling companies.
    • 1-2 years of proven experience in sales training or team management preferably in a fast-paced sales environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
    • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of inside-sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices in an Indian context.
    • A knack for inspiring and motivating freshers and young talent to maximize their potential.
