    Description

    Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with deep expertise in Network Routing and Network Switching. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network infrastructures that support our critical business operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional passionate about network stability, performance, and advanced networking technologies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Network Design & Implementation:
    • Design, configure, and implement complex routing and switching solutions using various protocols and technologies.
    • Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal disruption.
    • Ensure network designs meet business requirements for performance, scalability, security, and high availability.
    • Routing Protocols & Technologies:
    • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and Static Routing.
    • Implement and manage VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and route redistribution.
    • Optimize routing paths for efficiency and redundancy.
    • Switching Protocols & Technologies:
    • Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching protocols including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, and QoS.
    • Implement and troubleshoot advanced switching features like Port Security, DAI, and Private VLANs.
    • Ensure efficient and secure data flow within local area networks.
    • Troubleshooting & Optimization:
    • Perform advanced network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity, performance, and routing/switching issues.
    • Utilize network monitoring tools and packet analyzers to identify root causes and optimize network performance.
    • Participate in incident response for network-related outages.
    • Security & Documentation:
    • Implement network security best practices, including ACLs, firewall policies, and network segmentation.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a strong focus on routing and switching.
    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major network vendor equipment.
    • Expertise in TCP/IP stack, subnetting, and network troubleshooting tools.
    • Strong understanding of network security principles.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Skills

    • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certifications (or equivalent from other vendors).
    • Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
    • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (Azure Networking, AWS VPC).
    • Knowledge of network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
