Who are we looking for ?

Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw video footage and applying artistic and technical skills to create engaging and high-quality video content. This role involves collaborating with the creative team, understanding project requirements, and utilizing various editing techniques to produce visually appealing videos that meet the objectives of the project. The Video Editor must have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and a keen eye for detail.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished, visually appealing video product
• Trim and cut video segments to create seamless transitions
• Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall production
• Work closely with the creative team, including producers, directors, and other stakeholders, to understand project goals and requirements
• Proficient in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
• Ensure the quality and consistency of the final product through color correction and grading
• Make creative decisions on shot selection, pacing, and overall flow to enhance the storytelling
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project timelines and potential challenges
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficiency in video editing software and a strong understanding of video production processes
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual details and storytelling
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating past work and skills
• A degree in film, media production, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience and a strong portfolio may be considered
