Mandatory Skills - Java, Selenium, Spring Boot, REST Assured Testing, Database Testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Spring Boot, and Selenium for testing web-based applications.
• Automate test scripts for functional, integration, and end-to-end tests using Selenium WebDriver and other tools to validate web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Develop automated test suites for RESTful APIs, ensuring the proper functionality, performance, and security of API endpoints.
• Perform database testing by writing and executing complex SQL queries to verify data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in the application backend.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
• Identify, document, and track bugs in collaboration with development teams. Work proactively to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss solutions, and improve test coverage.
• Conduct load and performance testing of the system to ensure it meets the required performance benchmarks.
• Contribute to improving testing strategies, processes, and tools within the team to ensure quality and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in Java programming and Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Solid experience in database testing with SQL and the ability to write complex queries.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for bug tracking and test case management.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment with tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex automation challenges.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
