- M.A. or M.Sc. degree in Psychology.
- Proven experience as a Psychological Counsellor
- In-depth knowledge of counseling theories and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to empathize and build rapport with students, parents, and staff members
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other counseling methodologies
- Experience in working with children and adolescents
- Certification or training in areas such as clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, mental health counseling, special education, or wellness coaching will be an advantage
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Assess the needs of individuals seeking counseling and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine mental health needs
- Offer guidance and support to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and nurturing environment
- Provide crisis intervention and manage emergencies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of psychology and counseling
