    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychological Counsellor to join our team at Podar Education Network. As a Psychological Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to students. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Latur, Maharashtra, India. The employment type for this role is both full-time and part-time, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • M.A. or M.Sc. degree in Psychology.
    • Proven experience as a Psychological Counsellor
    • In-depth knowledge of counseling theories and techniques
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to empathize and build rapport with students, parents, and staff members
    • Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other counseling methodologies
    • Experience in working with children and adolescents
    • Certification or training in areas such as clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, mental health counseling, special education, or wellness coaching will be an advantage

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide individual and group counseling to students.
    • Assess the needs of individuals seeking counseling and develop appropriate treatment plans
    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine mental health needs
    • Offer guidance and support to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and nurturing environment
    • Provide crisis intervention and manage emergencies
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions
    • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of psychology and counseling
