    A little bit about the role:

    ORBCOMM is a leading global provider of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication solutions that remotely track, monitor and control fixed and mobile assets. We are looking for a vibrant and self-motivated Accounts ReceivableSpecialist to support the International Finance team. The ideal candidate should be in Hyderabad.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the end-to-end customer billing process and the Accounts Receivable (AR) ledger for several European customers, in particular for the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) & French regions.
  • Diligently implementing company policies and controls
  • Dealing with any customer queries professionally and without delays
  • Credit Control / AR management, reviewing and resolution of aging AR balances, managing the dunning and collections processes.
  • Sales returns credit processing
  • Customer account maintenance
  • Assisting with various accounting related projects and other ad hoc duties as identified by your manager.
  • Providing backup/cover for colleagues as needed
  • Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed MBA education in finance.
  • Excellent command of the English language in word and writing
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within a company with international presence
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of relevant financial and accounting procedures, policies and tools
  • Experience JDEwards (JDE), but also with MS Office applications
  • Preferably, knowledge of European VAT legislation and booking processes
  • Interest in automatization of processes
  • Good understanding of internal control measures
