About the role....Managing, Installing & config. of Hadoop (hive, hdfs, Ambari & Nifi) . Designing the architecture and to integrate with o9 Product.

Involved in Hadoop maintenance & monitoring tasks, managing day to day support tickets(zendesk), implementing Jenkins and Ansible to automate Devops tasks.

What you'll do for us...Work with customers/technical consultants to devise and recommend big data solution architecture based on requirementsAnalyze complex distributed production deployments, and make recommendations to optimize performanceAble to document and present complex architectures for the customers technical teamsWork closely with o9 Dev, Devops and project teams at all levels to help ensure the success of projectsHelp design and implement Hadoop architectures and configurations for customers working with Cloud deploymentsWrite and produce technical documentation and manual to be provided to customerKeep current with the Hadoop Big Data ecosystem technologies

What you'll have

Experience:
2+ years of DevOps experience,

architecting large scale storage, data center and /or globally distributed solutionsExperience

designing and deploying

production large-scale

Hadoop solutions .Experience designing data queries against data in a

Hadoop environment

using

tools

such as Apache

Hive , Apache

Druid , Apache

Phoenix

or others.
Experience installing, administering and tuning multi-node

Hadoop clustersStrong experience implementing software and/or solutions in

Cloud

(Azure, AWS, GCP)Experience designing data queries against data in the

HDFS environment

using tools such as Apache HiveExperience implementing

MapReduce

jobsExperience in architecting data centre solutions – properly selecting server and storage hardware based on performance, availability and ROI requirementsDemonstrated experience implementing big data use-cases, understanding of standard design patterns commonly used in Hadoop-based deployments.

Significant previous work writing to network-based APIs, preferably REST/JSON or XML/SOAPSkills: Strong understanding with various enterprise

security solutions

such as LDAP and/or KerberosStrong understanding of network configuration, devices, protocols, speeds and optimizationsStrong understanding of Java development, debugging & profiling.

Solid background in Database administration and design, along with Data Modelling.

Excellent verbal and written communicationsDemonstrable experience using R and the algorithmsCharacteristics:
Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into technical requirements

Online AssessmentDuring the interview phase, you will meet with the technical panel for 60 minutes. We will contact you after the interview to let you know if we'd like to progress your application.
There will be 2 rounds of technical discussion followed by a Managerial and HR discussion.
We'll then invite you to complete a written assignment via email. We will let you know if you're the successful candidate.
