Roles and Responsibilities:
Channel Management
Oversee day-to-day content uploads on the Firstpost YouTube channel
Review and edit video content to ensure it meets editorial guidelines and quality standards
Story Discovery
Scout YouTube and other digital platforms for potential stories and trends
Collaborate with the editorial team to develop story ideas and produce engaging stories
Audience Growth and Engagement
Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to inform content and optimisation strategies
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with editorial, production, and social media teams to ensure seamless coordination for distribution of stories
Attend regular editorial meetings and contribute with story ideas
Platform Management
Stay up-to-date with YouTube's features, algorithm changes, and best practices
Ensure channel branding, metadata, and video descriptions are optimised for search and discoverability in English.
Manage and maintain the YouTube channel's overall health, including copyright and community guidelines compliance
Role Requirements
Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken
Strong news judgment and editorial skills
Familiarity with YouTube's platform, tools, and best practices and experience with video editing software will be an added bonus
This role doesn't have a work from home component
Location- Noida
