    FE fundinfo is a leading global player in investment fund data and technology. Our team is talented and diverse, playing a key role in enhancing our industry by fostering better connections and insights. We are looking for a Principal Engineer - Solutions Architect to join us in Chennai.

    We are on the lookout for a dynamic Principal Engineer - Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Infrastructure team and drive innovation in designing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions for our Microsoft-based ecosystems and cloud services.

    As the driving force behind our technical landscape, you will be tasked with translating business needs into robust technical specifications while upholding top-notch practices, standards, and security policies. Your role will involve close collaboration with skilled engineers, visionary architects, and stakeholders within the organization. Additionally, you will have the rewarding opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to process enhancement, and enrich methodologies for a brighter future.

    Your main responsibilities as a Principal Engineer - Solutions Architect will include:
    • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for Microsoft-based ecosystems and cloud services.
    • Leading technically by providing guidance on Microsoft technologies to various engineering teams.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
    • Ensuring compliance with industry standards when implementing Microsoft solutions.
    • Handling complex issues by thoroughly reviewing, testing, and troubleshooting for effective resolutions.
    • Mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
    • Staying updated on the latest technologies to enhance Microsoft solutions.
    • Providing technical support for Microsoft solutions and cloud services.
    To qualify for the role of Principal Engineer - Solutions Architect, you should have:
    • Extensive experience in designing and supporting Microsoft solutions and cloud services.
    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies and architectures.
    • Proficiency in designing and delivering Azure Enterprise applications.
    • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
    • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable.
    • Proficiency in IaC principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
