JobSummary:

We are seeking a skilled anddedicated Part Time Ophthalmologist Phaco Surgeon to join ourprestigious ophthalmology department. As a Phaco Surgeon you willbe responsible for performing phacoemulsification surgeries totreat cataracts and other eye conditions. Your expertise inophthalmology and phacoemulsification techniques will play a vitalrole in improving the vision and quality of life for ourpatients.In this parttime role you will workclosely with our team of ophthalmologists and assist in diagnosingeye conditions conducting preoperative assessments and providingpostoperative care. You will have the opportunity to collaboratewith other specialists in our stateoftheart facility ensuring thehighest level of patient care andsatisfaction.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Performphacoemulsification surgeries to remove cataracts and correct othereye conditions
• Conduct preoperative assessmentsincluding patient history physical examinations and diagnostictests
• Develop individualized treatment plansand discuss surgical options withpatients
• Provide postoperative care includingmonitoring patients progress and managing anycomplications
• Collaborate with otherophthalmologists and healthcare professionals to ensurecomprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurateand detailed medical records
• Stay updated withthe latest advancements in ophthalmology and phacoemulsificationtechniques
• Participate in departmental meetingsconferences and educationalprograms

Qualifications Skills andExperience:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)degree
• Board certification inOphthalmology
• Valid state medicallicense
• Proven experience in performingphacoemulsification surgeries
• Strong knowledgeof ophthalmic diseases conditions andtreatments
• Excellent surgical skills andhandeye coordination
• Ability to workeffectively in a team environment
• Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonalskills
• Attention to detail and strongproblemsolving abilities
• Commitment toproviding highquality patientcare
