  • (Exp – 5-8 Yrs)
  • Technical Skill set

  • Mandatory: COBOl, JCL, DB2, VSAM
  • Good to have – IMS, CICS, MQ
  • Tools – CA-7 or similar, File-manager or Similar, Endevor or Similar, Debugging tool
  • Functional / Behavioral Skills:

  • Worked on mainframe development and enhancement projects as individual contributor role.
  • Understanding of complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology
  • Experience in Cards / Payment domain is an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Worked on mainframe development and enhancement projects as individual contributor role.
  • Very strong analysis skills to get to the bottom of the issue as required
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Development and enhancement including testing for mainframe applications (primarily Batch)
  • Applies technical knowledge and skills necessary to complete and document complex tasks.
  • Provide technical support to junior / peer team members
  • Resolve technical blockers with high efficiency with minimum escalations
  • Ability to think logically/analytically, understand business need.
  • Strong research skills, Strong problem resolution skills
  • Adheres to department practices, standards, policies, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Understands the application/area as it relates to assigned projects/tasks.
  • Willingly accepts additional responsibility.
