    Junior Quantitative Analyst: Algorithmic Trading

    Cloudcraftz is a Singapore/India-based boutique quantitative research and AI services provider. We work with leading financial institutions, banks, hedge funds, and asset managers in the areas of quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, risk management, AI and other areas.

    Job Summary:

    You will work in our fast-growing Quantitative Finance practice focused on designing, testing, developing, and running quantitative algorithmic trading strategies, models, and analytics. Machine Learning and AI are a key cornerstone of our design philosophy, and you must be familiar with these concepts.

    The ideal candidate will be a high-achieving graduate or postgraduate in finance/technology/statistics or related areas with 1-3 years of experience. Prior experience in financial modeling or knowledge of financial markets is not a must but will be preferred. You will be willing to work with ambiguity but still be able to apply rigorous and systematic scientific approaches to problem-solving. We shall be looking for curiosity coupled with quantitative aptitude.

    A willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas and methods is a key requirement and so is comfort with software development using Python/C++ with some exposure to associated environments and libraries for data science, scientific computing, and quantitative finance. You will need to have good written and oral communication skills and be able to present with clarity and conciseness.

    Employment Type: Full-time

    Location: The initial location for this role will be with the practice in Kolkata. We are expanding our teams in Bengaluru and Singapore; subsequent moves to these locations will be possible for the right candidates.
