Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a Psychological Counsellor. The Psychological Counsellor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions, supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of students, and conducting psychological assessments. Additional responsibilities include organizing workshops and awareness programs, collaborating with teachers and parents to address individual student concerns, and developing strategies to help students manage stress, build resilience, and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in Psychology or Counseling (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field); certification in child psychology or counseling is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in psychological assessments, school counseling practices, and designing intervention strategies.
• Knowledge of mental health frameworks, mindfulness practices, and child development theories.
• An empathetic and non-judgmental attitude, coupled with problem-solving and active listening skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Previous experience in educational institutions or working with children and adolescents is highly beneficial.
