Description
Key Responsibilities:
Agent Recruitment & Activation
- Identify and onboard high-potential agents/advisors through field activities, references, and local networks.
- Ensure timely licensing and activation of new agents.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective agents.
Training & Development
- Provide product knowledge, sales process, and regulatory training to agents.
- Conduct regular workshops and refresher training to boost agent productivity.
Business Development
- Drive sales of insurance products (Life/Health/General) through the agent network.
- Ensure agents meet their individual sales targets.
- Help agents identify leads, conduct joint field calls, and close sales.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track agent performance on productivity, persistency, and premium targets.
- Maintain records of sales, commissions, and other metrics for reporting to senior management.
- Handle agent grievances and support them with tools and resources.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with agents to ensure retention and loyalty.
- Organize engagement activities like recognition programs, contests, and rewards.

- Strong interpersonal and people management skills

- Results-oriented with a focus on targets
- Understanding of insurance/financial products
- Good planning, networking, and time management skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
- 2–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in insurance, BFSI, or direct/agency sales
- Local market knowledge and language proficiency are highly desirable
