    Description

    Technical Expertise :

    Technically Hands-on: An SDE3/Principal/Staff Engineer should be a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a hands-on approach. They should be comfortable working on complex problems and diving deep into the codebase to implement solutions.

    Scalable Architecture Experience: They should have prior experience designing, developing, and implementing scalable architectures for large-scale systems. This includes understanding how to build systems that can handle increasing load and data volumes while maintaining performance and reliability.

    Strong Algorithms and Data Structures: A solid understanding of algorithms and data structures is essential. They should be able to efficiently choose and implement the appropriate algorithms for various tasks and have a comprehensive grasp of different data structures to optimize code performance.

    Exceptional Coding Skills: They should possess exceptional coding skills, particularly in object-oriented programming languages like Java (though proficiency in other languages is also beneficial). They should be able to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

    Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills & Strong Problem-Solving Skills: An SDE3/Principal/Staff Engineer should be a strong problem solver who can effectively identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. They should be able to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.

    Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills are necessary to break down problems, identify root causes, and design effective solutions. They should be able to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.

    Technical Skills :

    Experience with Web Technologies:

    They should have experience working with various web technologies like Java, Python, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Solr, Memcache, and Redis.

    This demonstrates a well-rounded understanding of the software development landscape.

    E-commerce Application Architecture:

    Experience in architecting and building real-time, large-scale e-commerce applications is a strong plus.

    This indicates expertise in designing systems that can handle high volumes of traffic and transactions while ensuring a seamless user experience.

    High-Performance Websites:

    Experience with building high-performance websites that cater to millions of daily users is highly desirable.

    This showcases the ability to design and implement systems that are scalable, reliable, and performant under heavy load.
