- Develop and implement security measures and controls to safeguard the organization's software applications, systems, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes
- Design, build, and maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using industrystandard tools and practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security code reviews to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities
- Automate security processes, such as security scanning, testing, and monitoring, to ensure continuous security compliance and early detection of security issues
- Monitor and analyze security logs, metrics, and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and proactively recommend security enhancements and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Conduct security training and awareness programs to educate development and operations teams on secure coding practices and security protocols
- Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or a similar role, with a strong focus on security in the software development and operations lifecycle
- Deep understanding of security principles, best practices, and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructureascode tools (Terraform/CloudFormation), Kubernetes, Docker, etc
- Proficiency in scripting languages and experience with automation and configuration management tools
- Handson experience with containerization technologies and associated security practices
- Experience with security scanning tools, vulnerability management platforms, and secure code analysis tools
- Knowledge of network security, web application security, and secure coding practices
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to think critically and prioritize tasks effectively
