    Description

    Role:

    • NVH performance evaluation of drivetrain system on test bench vehicle.
    • Root cause analysis and identification of countermeasures to achieve NVH target levels.
    • Operation and upkeep of test facility, equipment, and sensors.

    Responsibility:

    • Conduct NVH testing on the transmission system and components, utilizing advanced measurement techniques.
    • Analyse test data to identify noise vibration issues and recommend design improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing quality assurance to address NVH concerns.
    • Develop execute test plans, including test setup, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
    • Preventive maintenance of test facility, calibration, and upkeep of sensors and consumables.
    • Coordination with suppliers for the fabrication of jigs, adaptors, etc.

    Technical Competencies:

    • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry in the Vehicle/ drivetrain NVH testing domain.
    • Strong knowledge of different transmission types: CVT, manual, automatic, DCT, etc
    • Proficient in using LMS Test lab BK Pulse / other commercial software for NVH analysis.
    • Ability to assemble disassemble transmission unit.
    • Proficient in reading interpreting parts drawing
    • Experienced in performing different data analysis techniques e.g. Order analysis, Octave analysis, transient analysis, etc.
    • Competent in gear measurement technique
    • Understanding of driveline components (clutch, gear, driveshaft, etc.)
    • Hands-on experience in transmission set-up on test bench and instrumentation of NVH sensors.
    • Understanding of Testbed control software i.e. AVL Puma.
    • Driving skill of 4-wheeler valid driving license.
    • Facility maintenance and upkeep of consumables, sensors, etc
