Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineering Lead to lead our automation testing strategy, ensuring high-quality software releases by leveraging modern automation tools and frameworks.

About the Role:

This is a leadership position that requires strong technical expertise in automation testing, with experience in leading teams and implementing automation strategies. As a Senior Automation Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, automating functional, regression, performance, and security testing, and collaborating with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure effective test planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement automation testing strategies for banking applications, including Finacle, Core Banking, Payments, Internet Banking, and APIs.
Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, ensuring best practices and high-quality test coverage.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure effective test planning and execution.
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical skills in automation testing, as well as leadership and communication skills. Some of the key qualifications include:

Technical skills: Automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG), scripting languages (Java, Python, VBScript), API & web services (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI), performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad), defect management (JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla), and banking platforms (Finacle, Core Banking, Internet Banking, Payment Gateways).
Domain expertise: Strong understanding of banking workflows, transaction processing, digital banking, and payments, with experience in SWIFT, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and cross-border payments.
Soft skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and tight deadlines.
