    Job title: Video Designer

    Summary of job role and place in organization

    As a Video Designer for our dropshipping platform and social media channels, you will collaborate closely with our core design team to create engaging and impactful videos. Reporting to the Design Production Team Lead, you will utilize templates and guidelines to produce compelling video content tailored to our platform's needs.

    Purpose of the job

    As a Video Designer, you will be instrumental in enhancing our dropshipping platform and social media presence through captivating video content. Your role involves leveraging existing templates and processes to create videos that resonate with our audience across different languages and cultural contexts. You will uphold high-quality standards while continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement in your craft.

    You will also help localize other video materials for our B2C channels.

    Your proficiency extends to working with templates, style guidelines, and brand books to craft engaging videos. Furthermore, you excel at taking instructions and guidance from more senior designers and possess a well-established expertise in utilizing Premiere Pro, After Effects and other Video/Audio Adobe software.

    Responsibilities / Core tasks

    • Creation:Develop and design video content for our dropshipping platform and social media channels, including advertisements, product showcases, and promotional videos.
    • Utilization:Utilize templates provided by our core design team to create visually appealing and cohesive video content.
    • Adapt and localize existing videos from English to multiple languages, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance.
    • Work closely with team members to understand project requirements and deliver videos that align with our brand identity and messaging.
    • to Design Standards:Ensure that all video content meets established standards, guidelines, and best practices.
    • Solving:Identify and address design challenges creatively and effectively, seeking innovative solutions when necessary.
    • Management:Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality video content within stipulated timeframes.
    • Learning:Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video design techniques to enhance skills and deliver innovative content.

    Requirements

    • degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, plus at least 3+ years of experience in video design.
    • portfolio demonstrating proficiency in video design and creative projects.
    • in Adobe CC software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
    • of design principles and techniques, including color theory, typography, and composition.
    • attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • communication and time-management skills.
    • to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
    • working with style guides is preferred.
    • of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
    • mindset with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
    • in English is required, proficiency in other languages is beneficial.
