    Description

    What you will do

  • Responsible for the local delivery and execution of core HR services to employees and managers in accordance with Johnson Controls Manufacturing System (JCMS) principles, corporate policies and procedures, and manufacturing operations.
  • Performs a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, Plant Administration, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with company policies at the Plant.
  • IMS- Knowledge: ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001-Environment & ISO 45001-safety & health
  • Handling entire Administration gamut such as housekeeping, canteen, security, material inwards & outwards, scrap management, employee's transportation, CSR activities, etc.
  • How you will do it

  • Develops effective working relationships with local management and employees in order to influence and coach them on effective employment practices. i.e. ON roll, contractual, On Job Trainee and Apprentice.
  • Assists local management on various employment matters including Performance Management issues, succession planning, employee development, employee inquiries or complaints, as well as the implementation of company-wide HR activities.
  • Conducts investigations and recommends actions to effectively resolve policy violations. Seeks counsel from HR Director or Legal as necessary to ensure proper risk management.
  • Stays current on state/federal employment laws and company policies.
  • Conduct hourly recruitment for open positions following established process, in accordance with Affirmative Action requirements.
  • Conducts new hire onboarding and orientation using corporate standardized material, as well as local onboarding material.
  • Provide training and support for e-tools, including HR Atlas, Workday, JCMS.
  • Serves as the JCMS Empowered People champion for the plant.
  • HR Annual Budget-Capex & Opex formation and Mapping.
  • Liaising with government departments and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Do the plant administrative work-like to managing the Plant security, Employees' Mediclaim, maintain discipline & harmonious working environment across all employee levels to minimize violations of rules & regulations.
  • Develop and execute health and safety plan in the workplace according to legal guideline, prepare and enforce policy to establish a culture of health and safety.
  • Maintain the premises in a way that ensures the health and safety of people working in the plant.
  • Disclose to management full detail of any potential hazards in or around the workplace so they can be eliminated or controlled. Comply with operational health and safety requirements and orders.
  • What we look for - Required

  • MBA-HR, Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relation, Personnel Management or MSW with min 8 Years Plus experience.
  • Must be from manufacturing Plant Experience.
  • Demonstrated willingness to actively pursue continuing education related to field
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision making
  • Demonstrated conflict management skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills
