    Job Title: Software Development Engineer - III

    Location: Mumbai / Bangalore

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
    2. Drive technical discussions, decisions, and best practices within the team.
    3. Contribute to the design and architecture of complex software systems.
    4. Collaborate with architects to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
    5. Write high-quality, maintainable code for complex features and systems.
    6. Lead by example in terms of coding standards, efficiency, and best practices.
    7. Tackle complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
    8. Act as a go-to person for troubleshooting and debugging challenging issues.
    9. Take ownership of entire projects or significant components.
    10. Drive project planning, execution, and delivery.
    11. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
    12. Work closely with quality assurance (QA) teams to ensure robust testing practices.
    13. Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
    14. Introduce new technologies or methodologies that can improve development processes.
    15. Optimize software for scalability and performance.
    16. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and performance standards are met.
    17. Drive process improvements within the development team.
    18. Participate in and lead initiatives to enhance development workflows.
    19. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    20. Collaborate with other engineering teams to align efforts and share knowledge.
    21. Ensure comprehensive documentation of code, design decisions, and processes.
    22. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and the broader organization.
    23. Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members.
    24. Share expertise and contribute to the professional growth of the team.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of experience in backend development preferably in microservice environment
    • Strong programming skills in NodeJS, TypeScript
    • Good Understanding of Relational (MySQL), NoSQL(mongodb) and data stores
    • Strong problem-solving skills with good understanding of data structures and algorithms
    • Experience in using queuing infrastructure (Kafka/RBMQ) for scaling backend
    • Experience with using caches (Redis)
    • Experience in test driven development
    • Basic knowledge in DevOps (AWS)
