    Job Title: Mid-Level Java Engineer with Apache Spark Experience

    We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Java Engineer with hands-on experience in Apache Spark to join our growing team. As part of our team, you will work on developing and optimizing data processing pipelines and scalable applications using Java and Apache Spark. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java development and a proven track record of leveraging Apache Spark for big data processing tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and optimize data processing pipelines using Java and Apache Spark.
    • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to understand requirements and implement efficient solutions.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
    • Performance tuning and optimization of Spark jobs to ensure scalability and reliability.
    • Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Spark components into larger applications or systems.
    • Stay updated on the latest developments in Apache Spark and big data technologies.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
    • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
    • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, including Spark Core, Spark SQL, and Spark Streaming.
    • Proficiency in working with large-scale distributed systems and big data technologies.
    • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, YARN, and Hive is a plus.
    • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Knowledge of other big data processing frameworks such as Pandas, Polars and Apache Kafka.
