    About the Role

    The Chief People and Culture, P-5 leads a team of People and Culture professionals, including international and national staff members. The role requires strategic guidance, advice, and direction to ensure a cohesive and integrated people management approach.

    • Management of Section: Leads and manages the People and Culture section, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality services.
    • Strategic People and Culture: Provides strategic advice to Senior Management on people planning, talent management, and policy implementation.
    • Networking and Partnerships: Builds and maintains partnerships with stakeholders, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Business Partnering: Serves as a trusted advisor to Senior Management, providing expert advice on people management and related matters.
    • Leadership and Design of assigned People and Culture Services: Designs and implements effective people management systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Learning and Capacity Development: Develops and delivers training programs, workshops, and other capacity-building initiatives.
    • PC Data Analytics: Analyzes data to inform people management decisions, improving the effectiveness of HR programs and services.

    Requirements

    To qualify for this role, you will need:

    • An Advanced University Degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology, or another related field.
    • A minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation.
    • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered an asset.
