Job description
We are looking for a CFD Analyst with 3-6 Years of Experience for our Esteem client for the Bangalore Location. Key Skills: CFD, STAR CCM+, Thermal simulations This is an immediate requirement. Please apply if you can join within 20 days or close to 20 days.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for carrying out 3D CFD thermal and flow analysis for Engine and its components. 3D CFD- STAR CCM+ user for Flow & Thermal simulations.
- Developing turbulence models that can be used in the initial design stages.
- Constructing computational meshes and running CFD simulations with popular mesh generators and CFD programs.Assisting with the design and release of automotive air induction systems with CFD.
- Working with flow test labs to achieve a correlation between CFD results and physical tests.
- Providing global exhaust system development support to meet emission regulations, cost-effective design solutions, and shortened product development time through CFD/thermal simulations.
- Creating 3D CFD/Thermal Analysis CAE models from CAD designs.
- Analysing 3D CFD test results and giving feedback and design direction to other teams.
- Using CFD to analyse air handling and cooling system components.
- Leveraging steady state and transient CFD solvers to simulate heat transfer related to incompressible and compressible flow systems in internal combustion engines.
Required Skills, Qualifications (Technical Competency):
- 3-6 years of professional experience.
- CFD software proficiency -Fluent, Star CCM+, 1D GT lube and cooling will have added advantage.
- Should be working towards new and innovative technology and process development for IC Engine.
- Should have sound knowledge of fundamentals of Fluid dynamics, heat transfer, CFD and IC Engine.
- Should take ownership to understand problem definition with project team and provide the solution with good quality results and report.
- Good documentation and SOP writing skills are needed.
