- Perform precall analysis using various methods such as payer calls, IVR, and web portals to check claim status.
- Maintain precise documentation in client software for a clear audit trail and facilitate necessary communications with insurance companies.
- Record detailed actions postcall and conduct thorough analysis for effective claim followup.
- Resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently, ensuring first contact resolution.
- Provide accurate product/service information based on thorough research of medical documentation, authorizations, and explanation of benefits.
- Analyze accounts receivable data to determine reasons for underpayment, identify trends in A/R days, and document top denial reasons using appropriate coding.
- Open to fresh graduates with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts receivable followup/denial management in US healthcare preferred (not mandatory for freshers).
- Proficiency in denial management and accounts receivable fundamentals is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in continuous night shifts.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Previous experience in medical billing or knowledge of medical billing software, healthcare terminology, and ICD/CPT codes is beneficial but not required.
- Must be willing to work from the office.
