- A Data mining and visualization expert at EY:
- Designs and/or applies a comprehensive collection of methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of all the data assets of a company. Performs maturity assessments on data management capabilities, designs related organization and operating models, and advises on tools and roadmaps to implement them. Understands and assesses business strategy concerning the value of data at scale. Works with other Information Management & Analysis professionals, the program team, management, and stakeholders to design and build analytics solutions that deliver business value.
- Data Visualization, DW/BI, Enterprise Data Management, Information and Data Strategy, Enterprise IT Architecture, Semantic Layer, Ontology Design, Client Handling & Communication, Problem-solving / critical thinking, Analytical Thinking, Collaboration, Financial reporting, Automation
- Understand relevant business problems and create engaging visual insights
- Develop and review BI design specifications
- Execute data modeling and preparation
- Manage mid-size projects and ensure smooth service delivery
- Collaborate with project managers to address resource needs
- Translate business problems into technical requirements
- Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Participate in business development opportunities
- Minimum of 4 years of BI experience
- Experience in dashboards and data visualization using Power BI and SQL
- Strong data analysis skills using Alteryx
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting
- Knowledge of Azure services and financial accounting
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in a big 4 or technology/consulting environment
- Experience with data engineering tasks and large volumes of data
