We are seeking a skilled and experienced Option Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, particularly options trading, and possess the analytical skills necessary to make informed trading decisions. As an Option Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades, managing risk, and developing and implementing trading strategies to achieve profitable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Execute options trades across various markets and asset classes.

Monitor market trends and analyse financial data to identify trading opportunities.

Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalise on market inefficiencies and generate profits.

Manage risk exposure by implementing appropriate hedging strategies.

Collaborate with other traders and analysts to share insights and best practices.

Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends.

Maintain accurate records of trades and performance metrics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.

Proven experience as an Option Trader or similar role in a financial institution or proprietary trading firm.

In-depth knowledge of options trading strategies, derivatives pricing models, and risk management techniques.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and financial modeling.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive trading environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in trading platforms and software.
