Responsibilities
Configure cloud management services on GCP in the organization defined .Manage and monitor GCP services involved with defined KPI.Configure & monitor the overall usage of several GCP resources.
Manage and forecast Capacity through on demand scalingDefined & measure level of fault tolerance based on business needsIdentify performance bottlenecks and implement remediesprovision cloud resources and manage implementation automationManage backup and disaster recovery processesImplement and manage security policiesManage & monitor userid & access level management.
Ensure data integrity and access controls when using the GCP platformManage other integration platforms applicable for customer environment.Automate resource provisioning using tools like TerraformMake necessary improvements in resources and also work on resource tagging to designate plans and costs for governance, reporting, and budgeting.
Manage and configure message queues, event sourcing, RDBMS/NoSQL data stores.Automation of processes and routines through Ansible, scripts, python, java programsRisk ManagementSupport assessments on IT infrastructureOversee deployment of strategic interventions to mitigate risksBuild reporting dashboards at the group level for capturing status of different systemsReview Infrastructure related issues through periodic meetings with CIOs to understand issues and provide resolution for the sameStakeholder ManagementBuild a trusted advisory relationship with all the BUs and engage with Architects, Engineering , governance stakeholder priorities, and design infrastructure strategies that deliver business valueEnsure robust decision making with collaborative inputs, resolve conflicts and ensuring follow through on cross functional projectsConsult and collaborate with stakeholders to develop relevant, timely policy and support materials for all business unitsPeople Management

Bachelor& degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field experience requiredAt least 7 years of success in consultative/complex technical cloud deployment projects, Cloud operations ,Cloud automation preferably on GCPAt least 2 years of experience on Google cloud platforms with knowledge of terraform, python, javascripting, ruby on rails , ansibleMust possess demonstrated analytical skills and thrive in a detail-oriented environmentTeam player with strong interpersonal and organizational skillsEntrepreneurial and self-sufficient: work with little oversight delivering high-quality results and driving own agendaEffective problem-solving and mediation skillsStrong planning, project management and problem-solving skillsCustomer focused, result oriented with high level of integrityAbility to adapt to fast-paced and changing environmentsExcellent presentation skillsTechnical understanding of Cloud Computing concepts in general and/or GCP specific technologies,platforms and solutionsPreferred qualifications:Certification in one or more of the following technologies: Linux, Google Cloud Platforms Professional/ArchitectExperience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions (preferably Google Cloud)Experience with identity/access managementFamiliarity with securing Kubernetes and containerization workloads.
