Position Summary:
The Enterprise Operations Analytics (EOA) organization supports the data and analytical needs of Cigna's Enterprise Operations.

As a center of excellence for best practices in Data Engineering, Web Application Development, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, and Business Intelligence, the team brings together data from customer contact centers, client benefit design / install, provider solutions / network operations, print / digital communications, and beyond in novel ways to provide actionable insights to business partners ranging from front-line Prior Authorization Representatives and Patient Care Advocates to Senior Leadership.

The Software Engineering Senior Manager will provide web development support for our projects.

They will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and deployment of web-based solutions in support for Cigna's Enterprise Operations.

They will be responsible for partnering with key players in Customer Service, Client Service, Provider Service, and Workforce Planning, while drawing on support from Technology, Finance, Strategy, Operational Readiness, and Solutions Delivery.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Work with Enterprise Operations Analytics Leadership, Information Technology, as well as internal customers to design and implement platform-level enhancements delivering improved ease-of-use, new developer-empowering featuresLead the delivery of interactive, data-driven applications to enhance throughput, reduce cost, and improve quality within Enterprise Operations.

Create, communicate, and adhere to development timelines.
Balance and prioritize projects across a wide development portfolio.
Lead the development team and its resources efficiently.
Lead the architecture and design of our solutions.
Maintain clear project documentation in tools such as Confluence.
Work closely and effectively with our partners within our organization (EOA).Work closely and effectively with our partners in IT and Operations,

Experience Required:10+ years of relevant software engineering experience4+ years of leadership experience

Experience Desired:
Strong understanding of Agile MethodologyStrong experience with .NET core.
Experience with Data Visualization JS libraries , ECharts, or equivalent)Experience with Modern Angular, React, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of Relational Databases(MSSQL, Oracle, etc)

Additional Skills:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and shift priorities.
Experience working with IT partners and coordinating releases, updates, and changes.
Experience with cloud (AWS, OpenShift).Experience with Containers and Container Orchestration (EKS, ECS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or equivalent).
