    Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare GIS product offers for domestic as well as export market.
  • Well versed with all commercial terms & conditions applicable for offer preparation.
  • Develop a tendering strategy based on market intelligence and inhouse experience and expertise.
  • To interpret substation single line diagram, substation Layouts, Bill of material, specification, and other relevant documents of customer for bid preparation Feasibility Study - Technical / Strategic positioning, and Commercial viability.
  • Analyze the risk probability & severity of the tenders from technical, commercial, contractual perspectives & support the team towards the mitigation strategy liaising with the different disciplines.
  • Forecast planning of tenders for the team in close coordination with Front end Sales (FES).
  • Support FES/BD team with GIS product presentation to Domestic/export customers.
  • Engage with customers to learn and understand the drivers influencing their specification. Work out ideas on how to influence customer buying criteria.
  • Gas insulated switchgear product along with substation engineering know how shall be preferred.
  • Collaborate across the Tendering Competency Center (TCC) team in offering solutions to country / region specific customers.
  • Close collaboration with the product group HUB Marketing & Sales Managers (TM & SM) responsible for the global market.
  • Ensure all proposals/Offer follow relevant Hitachi Energy India procedures and guidelines.

  • Your Background

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of professional work experience in High voltage gas insulated switchgear (GIS)/Substation tendering.
  • Candidate must have deep technical know-how of Gas insulated switchgear/Substation engineering.
  • Experience and skill to prepare and support Value Based selling, bid process.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required .
