IT Project Manager (Specializing in Python Development)

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager with a strong
background in Python development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will
have at least 5 years of work experience as a Python Developer, combined with proven
project management skills. This role involves leading complex IT projects from
conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to
the highest quality standards. The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep
understanding of software development processes, Agile methodologies, and have a
track record of managing cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope,

timeline, resource allocation, and budgeting. Lead projects through their entire
lifecycle, from initiation to deployment and closure.

• Team Leadership and Management: Manage and lead project teams, fostering a

collaborative work environment. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate
personnel, ensuring optimal productivity and project progress.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.

Communicate project progress, challenges, and changes effectively to all
stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

• Technical Oversight: Utilize your Python development experience to oversee the

technical aspects of projects, ensuring the use of best practices in coding, testing, and
deployment. Provide technical guidance and support to the development team as
needed.

• Risk Management: Identify project risks and dependencies early, developing and

implementing mitigation and contingency plans to address these issues proactively.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality

standards and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines. Conduct regular
project reviews and audits to ensure compliance.

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project

management processes, tools, and methodologies within the organization. Promote a
culture of innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or

related field.

• At least 5 years of work experience as a Python Developer, with a solid understanding

of Python programming language and its ecosystem.

• Proven experience in IT project management, preferably with a certification in Project

Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar.

• Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles and

practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead

and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience with software development tools, project management software (e.g.,

JIRA), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
