- Navi is launching first of its kind payments credit products to empower a large segment of Indians with payments credit access at scale.
- The role requires collaborating with the business team & partner banks to set up from scratch the credit risk management machinery and supporting data science & central risk teams.
- Work on various analytics models to understand user segments & user behavior, collaborate with bank partners on defining processes & framework for active portfolio management, credit risk monitoring, hindsighting & other processes, & be responsible for owning metrics for short term & long term credit risk for the portfolio across payments credit products.
- Ownership of various other metrics(exploratory analysis, automation, dashboarding, advanced analytics) for credit losses, portfolio quality as well as approval rates for the business, collaborating with business & product teams to balance growth & credit risk as per the target PnL
- Ruthlessly prioritize impactful work, scope them, track progress and set up high standard reviews SOPs
- Deliver continuous insights and recommendations for business/product improvements and communicate effectively to ensure implementation of recommendations aligned with the business/product
- Identify opportunities of advanced analytics projects like prediction, segmentation, optimization to come up with insights on customization for various customer groups
- Define metrics through the business processes for clear measurability and to deep-dive into processes to identify areas of improvements
- Work with internal (self serve, advanced analytics teams) and external (engineering & data platform team) to drive data availability, reliability and speed of data.
- Identify long-term opportunities and delivers them in a scalable fashion by implementing scalable processes in place and driving automation of repetitive tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Technology/MBA with technical background
- 5+ years of experience on SQL, any BI platform (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, Looker, Quicksight etc)
- Prior experience of banking domain(Credit Risk) would be a plus and Decent understanding of underwriting process and delinquency.

- Proven Experience in handling stakeholders and multiple charters on need basis

- Prior data modeling experience in R/Python and some classification and/or regression techniques
- Understanding of data platforms and some knowledge ETL processes
