Supply Chain Intern - New Delhi, India - Aweri Foods

Tenure of internship: 2 Months

Location: Okhla Phase 1

What you'll do:

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and vendors for goods and services required by the company.
• Support the procurement team in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings.
• Help maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Assist in supplier communication and relationship management to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Support procurement team members in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and contractual terms.
• Support in managing relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including scheduling shipments and arranging deliveries.
• Address any logistics-related issues or delays promptly.
• Assist customers regarding order inquiries, product information, and shipment status.
• Ensure excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer concerns and resolving issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
