- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform.
- Collaborate with infrastructure architects and DevOps engineers to define infrastructure requirements and translate them into automated deployment scripts.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using IaC principles.
- Automate deployment and configuration of Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, networking components, and storage services.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure automation solutions by adhering to Azure best practices and compliance standards.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track infrastructure changes, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate infrastructure automation into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with emerging Azure services, Infrastructure as Code tools, and DevOps practices, and evaluate their applicability to the organization's infrastructure automation strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including mentoring junior developers and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps roles.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure services, Azure ASPs, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, etc.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks, such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Bicep or similar.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of .NET core, micro services is huge plus.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPPA, PHI, HiTrust, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
