    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced US Audit Professional to join our client. As a US Audit Professional, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits and reviews for our clients, ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and is a full-time position.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • 4 to 6 years of experience in performing financial audits
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
    • CPA certification preferred
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Instruct and oversee fellow A&A staff throughout engagements. Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
    • Prepare and or review financial statements. Complete general audit procedures including coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence and resolving open items, etc.
    • Research technical issues using online tools.
    • Review work completed by staff and make recommendations regarding preparation and accuracy.
    • Assist managers and partners in running client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, completing projects and managing to budget.
    • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines.
    • Work closely with partners, directors, senior managers, managers, senior associates and associates on client management, professional development and business development activities.
    • Assist with resolving more complex issues.
    • Participate in client meetings. May lead client meetings with some clients.
    • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on audit projects and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews.
    • Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis.
    • Other related duties as assigned.
