- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in study abroad counseling or related roles
- Strong knowledge of study abroad programs, universities, and admission processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide guidance and support to students from diverse backgrounds
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
- Familiarity with international education policies and regulations
- Guide and counsel students on study abroad programs, admission requirements, and career pathways
- Assist students in selecting suitable universities and courses based on their academic qualifications and career goals
- Conduct orientation sessions and informative presentations to educate students about different study abroad destinations and opportunities
- Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, and other required documents
- Coordinate with universities and educational institutions to facilitate smooth admission processes for students
- Provide ongoing support to students throughout the application and visa process
- Advise students on scholarship opportunities and financial aid options
- Keep up-to-date with changes in international education policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
