KeyResponsibilities:

• Performing surgicalinterventions for conditions such as esophageal cancergastrointestinal tumors and other complex digestivedisorders
• Conducting endoscopic proceduresincluding endoscopic ultrasound endoscopic retrogradecholangiopancreatography and endoscopic mucosalresection
• Providing preoperative andpostoperative care to patients undergoing surgicalprocedures
• Collaborating with multidisciplinaryteams to develop comprehensive treatmentplans
• Participating in clinical research andstaying updated with the latest advancements in surgicalgastroenterology
• Educating patients ontreatment options surgical procedures and postoperativecare
• Participating in quality improvementinitiatives to enhance patient outcomes andsafety
• Diagnosing and managing complexgastrointestinal conditions through a combination of clinicalevaluation imaging and laboratorytests

RequiredQualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine(MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)degree
• Residency training in generalsurgery
• Fellowship training in surgicalgastroenterology
• Board certification in generalsurgery and gastroenterology
• Valid statemedical license
• Demonstrated surgical expertisein complex gastrointestinal procedures
• Proventrack record of successful clinicaloutcomes
• Experience in endoscopic interventionsand interpretation of endoscopicfindings
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
• Ability to workeffectively in a fastpaced dynamic healthcareenvironment
