    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable and receivable (invoices, payments, etc.)
    • Prepare and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
    • Manage petty cash and employee expense reimbursements.
    • Maintain accurate general ledger entries.
    • Tax and Compliance:
    • Calculate and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations.
    • Assist with external audits as needed.
    • Payroll Processing:
    • Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments and deductions.
    • Maintain employee payroll records.
    • Financial Reporting & Budgeting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting future financial performance.
    • Generate reports to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
    • Other Duties:
    • Implement and maintain internal accounting controls.
    • Assist with financial tasks related to travel bookings (optional).
    • Provide financial data and reports to various departments as required.
    • Stay informed of accounting best practices within the travel industry.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with some experience in the travel industry a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
    • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant taxation regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Zoho books.
