Job Description

· Provide an expert level of skills & knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and delivery of HCL DX WCM application and business process developments.

· Collaborate with the business in identifying functional requirements for process groups, and create corresponding technical specifications

· Create and modify HCL DX WCM configurations using defined development standards, procedures, and design specifications

· Develop test scripts, perform unit testing, and contribute to integration testing of development objects

· Provide technical support to end users; diagnose and resolve application-related issues, identify root causes, as well as institute corrective actions and preventive measures.

· Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate.

· Ensure Change Controls are developed, tested & released according to an agreed schedule and ensure all high business impact changes are escalated as appropriate.

• · Expected to be involved in support activities and a number of development activities and to have developed excellent business process design skills.

Skills

· At minimum of 5-6 years of experience in WCM/Portal 8/8.5/9 development.

· Very good understanding of JAVA/J2EE

· Very good portlet development knowledge

· Good knowledge of HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Dojo

· Good knowledge of latest portal and bootstrap theme development

· Good Portal administrative skills

· Ability to design solution and implement in WCM/Portal environment.

· Personalization and search configurations

· Extensive knowledge on WCM components

· Custom WCM items like workflows/plugins/JSPs

· Preferable knowledge on dockers, container and Kubernetes

· Expert on WCM API

· Expert on REST API

· XML Access import/export skills

· WCM Debugging skills

· SVN version management

· Good communication skills in English language.
