Hiring for Lending Compliance role @ Immediate joiners are preferred Mandatory WFO and US Shift Candidate who are experienced in US Mortgage Mortgage Underwriting will be considered Job Responsibilities Participates and leads credit or scorecard review initiatives to ensure the Bank s current lending channels are compliant with published credit policies underwriting guidelines departmental procedures regulatory requirements and investor guidelines Review moderate to complex loan documentation using up-to-date comprehensive knowledge and experience to mitigate risks Prepares written report for Department Manager detailing observations and recommendations for corrections Works with impacted business units to address remediation and training Analyzes published business unit policies procedures and forms to ensure accuracy alignment with current investor guidelines requirements Consults with Government Agency investors vendors legal counsel Lending Compliance department as needed Serves as Compliance Coordinator for Banks Management Directives Guidelines Prepares written report for Department Manager detailing observations recommendations corrections Facilitate lead discussions Business Unit Managers Senior Leadership pertains Quality Control review results Identify opportunities new reviews enhancements automation data driven compliance improvement Quality Control oversight programs lending products offered Bank Conducts compliance reviews scheduled loan level documentation transactional testing risk assessments lending products services focused random sample basis Participate touchpoint meetings Business Unit leaders communicate regulatory change management Participate business unit touchpoint meetings Perform QA continuous monitoring regulatory compliance through data driven reporting processes Review marketing campaigns disclosures new products general Questions Evaluate process maps procedures policies management directives accuracy completeness Prepares written report Department Manager detailing observations recommendations corrections Works affected business units accomplish remediation appropriate training required Supports Banks efforts corporate compliance audits Agency compliance examinations advance preparation Leads applicable target reviews Should handle client relationships smooth delivery Should possess operations skills support client high volume tasks Possess strong knowledge documentation SOP s process workflows Communicate extensively phone onshore partner escalate resolve issues Adherence controls standards Basic Qualifications Deep understanding FNMA FHLMC FHA VA investor guidelines Minimum 4 6 years experience relevant area Graduate equivalent education Previous compliance risk management experience Strong communication skills written verbal Knowledge financial markets familiarity regulatory policies Strong research analytical comprehension skills ability analyze document large amounts of data Sense intellectual curiosity enthusiasm integrity confidentiality Excellent judgement attention detail Strong analytical organizational self starter minimal supervision Proficiency Microsoft applications Excellent time management can act team player multi task
