Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Legal Manager (Litigation) to join our team. As the Legal Manager (Litigation), you will be responsible for handling all legal matters related to litigation. This is a senior-level position requiring a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and the employment type is Full-Time.

Qualifications and Skills

• LLB degree from a recognized university
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience as a Legal Manager (Litigation)
• Strong knowledge and experience in handling civil cases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Membership in a relevant professional association or bar council
• Fluency in English and local language (Bengaluru)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage all legal matters related to litigation, including civil cases, in a proactive and efficient manner
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide advice on legal issues to the management team
• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Stay updated on changes in legal regulations and communicate any potential impact on the company
• Manage external legal counsel and coordinate their activities as needed
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to minimize legal risks
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal matters
