    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PAUT & TOFD Engineer to join our team at NDTS India (P) Limited. As a PAUT & TOFD Engineer, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques. This is a full-time position located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques.
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in PAUT and TOFD inspections.
    • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASNT, ISNT, ISO, etc.).
    • Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections on various materials and components.
    • Follow standard testing procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
    • Interpret and evaluate test results, and prepare detailed reports.
    • Collaborate with clients and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
    • Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in PAUT and TOFD techniques.
    • Assist in training and mentoring other NDT technicians.
