- Past experiences in developing and managing large scale portal applications will be preferable
- Must have experience in developing both Mainframe and distributed applications
- Must have hands-on experience in designing as well as developing in Java, Angular and a RDBMS (preferably Oracle)
- Must have knowledge in snowflake
- Strong knowledge of working with REST web services, hosted on Cloud platform using modern DevOps Practices
- Have working experience in Mainframe, Cloud Based Development and Deployment, preferably on Amazon Web Services
- Ensure the work performed by Chapter members is aligned well with architectural standard methodologies
- Support the alignment of work with group objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). In addition, ensure that Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) work is factored into the chapter's roadmap accordingly.
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems and generate effective solutions
- Ability to build communication and rapport with partners and stakeholders.

The associate is expected to provide thought leadership in delivering the right business outcomes.
The Value You Deliver
The role will revolve around key technology implementations on Fidelity's brokerage platform ), which offers integrated brokerage solutions to clients ranging from retail broker-dealers to institutional investment firms. The associate is expected to provide thought leadership in delivering the right business outcomes for the above product area. The associate is expected to have good technical knowledge on Mainframe, Java Middle Tier Web Platform, UI Frameworks and Database backend with Webservices. Since FIT is focused on Cloud migration program, so good knowledge of AWS Cloud will be preferred. FIT is currently working on rolling out an Industry first data sharing product and hence knowledge of snowflake would be important. A thorough understanding of DevOps pipelines and development processes around engineering excellence practices would be required to bolster the overall SDLC process.
