Position Title: Senior Sourcing Manager

Location: Mumbai, India (with frequent travel across India)

Experience: Minimum 20+ years in the fashion industry, preferably with experience in larger brands

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven track record of at least 20 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the fashion industry
• Demonstrated success in building and managing vendor relationships that have resulted in cost savings, quality improvements, and on-time delivery
• Strong network of vendor manufacturers across India and internationally, with a proven ability to expand and optimize this network
• Proficiency in identifying emerging trends, market opportunities, and innovative sourcing solutions that drive competitive advantage
• Exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of achieving favorable terms and agreements with vendors
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive sustainable growth
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs
• Willingness to travel frequently within India for vendor visits, sourcing trips, and industry events

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the sourcing and procurement strategy for YUVAKAA Fashion and Lifestyle Brand, with a focus on driving cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic vendor partners that align with the brand's quality standards, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability initiatives
• Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with vendors to optimize pricing, lead times, and product quality, while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency through data-driven analysis, benchmarking, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, merchandising, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on sourcing priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and geopolitical factors that may impact sourcing strategies, and proactively identify opportunities and risks
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, internal teams, and external partners, to foster collaboration and drive collective success
• Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to sourcing performance, vendor relationships, and cost savings initiatives
• Mentor, coach, and develop members of the sourcing team to build capabilities, drive engagement, and cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous learning
