Job Summary

We are looking for an Associate to join our Financial Services team at PwC

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in direct tax and FEMA regulations, as well as strong analytical and numerical skills

The associate will assist in providing tax advice solutions to clients in complex areas of taxation including accounting methods fixed assets research development tax credits

Review transaction documents such shareholders agreements constitution documents share subscription agreement etc from tax regulatory standpoint Providing comments on such documents

Identifying issues / providing solutions on complex transactions Interacting with middle management client contacts day to day matters Reviewing finalising the tax computations –tax returns withholding tax computation advance tax etc Independently handling scrutiny assessments preparing submissions highlighting complex tax issues representations before tax officers Coordinating with the taxa authorities visiting the taxa office regular follow ups rectification refund follow up Interaction regulators informal basis various queries Analysing interpreting provisions Income-tax Act Foreign Exchange Management Act SEBI regulations Company Law Responsible complete execution assigned engagements Coordinating Manager/ AD planning management assignments ensure timely delivery Overseeing work Associate Analysts Senior Analysts
