Role & Responsibilities:

• Defining Backup, Restoration & Archival policies for AMI, Immutable, Databases
• Establishing process and procedures for the Backup, Restoration and Archival of AMI, Immutable, Databases
• Ensuring successful backup on agreed frequency and restorations are done as per calendar
• Ensuring 100% data is secured for Axtria and Axtria clients
• Daily / Weekly / Monthly backup monitoring
• Reporting of backup success as per agreed process
• Performing Restoration as per the agreed process and adhoc restoration based on tickets
• Enable backup for new server workloads as per the process
• Offboarding server workloads from backup infrastructure during decommissioning
• Supporting BCP / DR tests scenarios
• Continuously enhancing knowledge and skills to remains abreast of the industry trends and updates on information security issues and data privacy topics
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand and communicate technical and as well as compliance requirements
• Strong documentation skills in writing process documents, guidelines, checklists etc.

Skill Set required:

• Hands-on experience on AWS , Azure backups and restorations
• In-Depth knowledge of backup of onprem and network/security devices (Firewall, Switches)
• Scripting knowledge on PowerShell, Python

Qualification:-

• BE / BTech
• AWS / Azure certified

Required Experience:

• 8-9 years of experience in managing Backup and restoration of Cloud
